I had a three tier wire spice rack (the wires were close together) in our own house and this thing bolted to the cabinet and then folded out for easy access will . I couldn't do that in our new apartment in the USA. But the wire shelves available, well, I knew the flavors and extracts would tip over. I found a three tier acrylic shelf, but one careless hand grabbing a bottle of condiments could topple the rest. Then I found this one with the sides on each tier of the shelf! Eureka! It works well!
