Review on Run Shuangyu Octopus Flexible Portable by Nick Morales

I love this tripod. These tripods have segmented legs. This tripod has thin, fragile, flexible carbide legs. I suspect they will break with prolonged use. I take care of this tripod and carefully bend my legs. I will update the review if and when the legs break. The worst thing about this product is the smell. The legs are covered in soft plastic/rubber giving it a segmented look. The coating has an unbearable chemical-plastic smell. This is very very bad. I don't know how to articulate the severity of this sickening smell. i mean wow However, this is one of those items that I bought for the price and for the price I will live with the smell. The tripod is strong enough to support the weight of my Canon Vixia and my DSLR (with the small lens attached). So wear nose plugs.
