Not bad. There is just enough space to hide a few little things. Think of the end of the table. The top is a little flat, but I'm not sure if glassware is to be trusted. A plastic cup is probably safe. Very easy to assemble but too easy to take apart. You'll also need to take some sand with you to weigh the thing down. We bought a 20 lb bag and used just over 3/4 of it at the base. I also took a large tube of clear caulk and carefully sanded all the inside edges and around the outside of the base. Gave him a few days to recover and go out in bad weather. It's only drizzle and freezing rain so far (thank you Canada, you can get your weather back), but so far so good. A hammock and the remains of a sandbag that I just threw in, still dry. Thunderstorm season has yet to pass before I can give a rave review, but with the extra work I've had to put in, it can indeed do so.
