Durable doll's pram

I bought this doll's pram (after struggling with all the other options in stores and online) as a gift for a one year old girl. She's just starting to turn into a doll. Haven't got her a stroller yet but when I got it I put it together and had my 1 year old son test it around the house to make sure it was strong and stable. I am very impressed that this stroller does not tip over. My son tried to knock it over (like all other pusher toys) but couldn't. Finally he sat down and picked it up by one of the wheels, which still knocked him over. But it's all about having a sturdy toy that a toddler learning to walk can push, and this toy really lives up to that standard. I was impressed with the speed of delivery but the packaging was not what I expected. I was planning on putting the stroller together to take to the party anyway, but the product arrived in an unlabeled box with its parts (ie not a sealed Little Tikes box). Again, I didn't care as I intended to assemble the toy and didn't think it would be in any danger of being returned. But if you're looking for a toy in a Little Tikes box, mine wasn't there, so be careful. Since the stroller parts were just in an unmarked box (not wrapped in plastic or anything), mine was dirty. when he arrived. Again, not a big deal since I collected it anyway. The buggy is white and mine had some dirt and dust on it (just a couple of Lysol wipes didn't fix it). But if you plan to just send it as a gift or wrap a gift box, be careful. This was not an obstacle for me as mine was cleared in just a few minutes. Assembly was a breeze and took about 10 minutes total (including finding the hammer in the garage). As for some of the feedback about the wheels not spinning, I think it might be a design flaw. There is a long metal bar that holds both wheels, the buggy and two screws with end caps. If you leave some slack on each end of the bar between the end cap screw and the wheel, the wheels will spin much better. I had one wheel that was a bit stiffer than the others when it came to spin. We didn't realize it until after the stroller was assembled, so instead of taking the wheel off and trying to grind out a hole for the bar, my husband and I took turns spinning the wheel with some stretch resistance angrily. a small hole. It worked and the stroller held up to the pressure ensuring this item is likely to last for years. Finally, the description says that the stroller is suitable for dolls up to 18 inches. As I have a son we don't have a doll to test it. But I put his spotter dog (15 inches) in the stroller and he fit perfectly. Scout took up the entire stroller in my opinion, but I expect the doll will bend at the waist more than a soft dog, so 18 inches might be accurate (although I wouldn't buy that for larger dolls). All in all I am happy with my purchase and would buy again.
