So far so good. I was a bit nervous when I first received and tried on the belt as it was so large. I have pants size 32-33, so I ordered a size 34 belt. Luckily, you can easily shorten the belt by cutting it off with scissors and making a new hole with the hole punch provided (simple instructions are also included). . I was a little worried about the strap cutting, but you don't really cut the strap where you see it when you wear it. It is hidden under the clasp/additional leather. It is also very easy to trim and looks beautiful. Very simple process: loosen the screw, pull out the strap, cut off the same end you took off (not the end you see wearing it), reattach and mark the new spot with a pen, make a hole with a hammer and punch , back in, screw in and done. I got it done in less than 5 minutes. If necessary, take a picture of the belt/buckle so you know how it fits together. The belt itself looks great, the leather is of excellent quality. The taupe goes very well with my Tecovas Suede Roper suede boots (color Shane - Granite). They are a bit lighter than the boots, but still fit together beautifully. The only downside is that the pin you put in the belt hole might not last very long, but over time I'll update my review if needed.
