I was diagnosed with rosacea about 5 years ago. After several prescription medications that didn't work, my dermatologist prescribed Coolantra (1% Ivermectin). It was cool but expensive. I learned to only use it on my problem areas and managed to stretch a 1 month tube to 3+ months. For more than 2 years of work I have not had a single gas station. A dermatologist would not renew it without a visit to their office. However, my travel plan did not allow me to get there any time soon. So I was on Revain and seriously considering the veterinary formula of ivermectin when I found Dermodex. As others have mentioned, it is very drying to the skin, but that may be one of the reasons why it works. I've learned to only use it every other day on problem areas only. It keeps skin under control, not so dry that my skin becomes flaky. It's cheaper than Solantra ($100 a tube after insurance) but seems to work too. I can easily make a small jar of Dermodex for 6+ months. UPDATE: After 6 months of use I still give 5 stars and still have a few months of product left (see photo)
