This review is of the RVZ02B-W which I bought directly from Revain. I've always liked Silverstone cases. for their quality and innovation and this case does not disappoint. I had Fortress FT03 and FT03-Mini and also the first RVZ01. This case is by far my favorite because it ultimately offers the best balance of size, performance, cooling, and noise; so much so that I decided to write a review about it so others can benefit from my experience as well. Did I mention he looks 100 times cooler in real life? My Computer: Silverstone RVZ02B-WGigabyte Z170N ITX Motherboardi5-6500 CPU Noctua NH-L9I Low Profile Cooler (with Cooler Master Blade 92 PWM Fan) 8GB DDR4 RAM (Geil Super Luce, Glows Red, Newegg) Asus GTX970 Mini (Upgrade to GTX1070 follows soon) Corsair SF600 SFX PSU1TB Samsung 850 EVO SSD (OS)2TB WD 7200RPM 2.5' HDD (Data)Samsung Slim Optical Drive SN-208FB/BEBEWindows 10Important Note: My ITX-integrated past became forever due to one thing discarded : noise. This build proved a success thanks to the recently released Corsair SF600 SFX power supply. I've used Silverstone (and other manufacturers) SFX power supplies in the past, but they've always been so noisy (I haven't tried the SFX-L version). Personally, I prefer my computer to be near-silent when idling, and this power supply performs as promised: no coil squeak, no hiss, period. Without this power supply I would have missed this case, I think. Also, I don't like liquid cooling because of the pump noise (yes, that worries me), so I went with Noctua's acclaimed low-profile cooler instead, but decided to just cover the included fan with Cooler Master's thicker black color option replace In this case, everything fitted, and there was about half an inch of free space left from the sidebar. I built this PC for gaming at 1080p, 60 fps and I wanted it to be quiet when I wasn't gaming. Mission accomplished. The body itself is made of metal and plastic and feels solid. I won't go into the specs and details as there are many websites that have already done a great job. What I'm saying is that in this case I was able to cram in so many powerful components without being too big for an Xbox One. Additionally, the Noctua heatsink with Cooler Master 92mm PWM combo fan kept my i5-6500 at 30ยฐC idle and 55ยฐC under load. On the other hand, depending on the game, my Asus GTX970 Mini stayed at around 28C idle and 60-75C under load (70C on average for Fallout 4 @ 1080P at Ultra settings). This is in a room with a temperature of around 70F. A few minutes into gameplay, the CPU, GPU, and PSU fans turn on with a moderate (but very tolerable) noise level that can easily be ignored or overwhelmed by game noise. Overall, I'd say the boot noise was no louder than my old first-gen 17-inch Asus G750 laptop. Visually, the windows on the photos are whiter than in real life. So unless your room is lit by bright neon lights, your case windows will likely look a lot more transparent in real life. The windows are also flush with the sidebar, which was another reason I went for this version over the standard all-black version. The orange triangular LED adds character to the sleek body when viewed directly; and my Gigabyte motherboard had built-in soundbar LEDs (red) giving the left side window a modest glow (ironically) while my right side window was adorned with slowly pulsing LEDs (also red) from the aforementioned RAM. In low light (like any decent gamer would) the finished build looks like a living, breathing (thanks to RAM) complex slot machine. Assembly yourself: SIMPLE. Much bigger than any of my other ITX builds (including the Cougar QBX, Corsair 380T, Azza CSAZ-103, ASRock M8 and Silverstone FT03-Mini) and even simpler than many larger desktops thanks to the reverse GPU placement made possible thanks to two PCI GPU adapter (included). Since I was using an SFX power supply (as opposed to an SFX-L power supply), I also had extra space next to the power supply so I could tie the cables neatly. It's a pretty big deal. But when I thought about it again, this way made sense too, because while the holes make it easier for dust to get in, they also make it easier to pull out. And opening the case every six months and going through it with a can of air doesn't seem like such a big deal as I can kill two birds with one stone and make sure all my components are still working. while I'm at it. However, it's been almost 1 month since I built it and I still don't see any dust accumulation inside. That's where my 2 cents end. My build total was around $1500 which I thought was reasonable given what it can do. Anyway, everyone needs a PC these days, and I decided to take it a step further and build a PC powerful enough, small enough, and quiet enough to replace my Xbox 360 controller gaming tips with the power supply , not much more in this case, but games run smoother, quieter and look better. 100% recommended.
