Installation was easy after downloading the instructions from the website. The brochure that came with the device could not be read even with a magnifying glass. The sensor works perfectly. Some users have complained about the slow response, but I think this is due to Wi-Fi and the internet and not the product. I like being able to monitor and control notifications. With some windows I just need to know if they are open. I just integrated it with Alexa. The magnet is too big to fit on my sash windows so I used a different brand thin magnet and it works fine. It used a 2032 battery instead of AAA. Then the whole unit can be thinner and have a longer lasting battery. It would be nice if the device were waterproof so that it can also be used outdoors.
