They are incredibly cute, beautiful color, incredibly soft to the touch, knitted. But the composition says 95% polyester and 5% spandex. Although they are synthetic materials, they feel very soft like cotton. What is needed for newborns. Because after birth, the environment will seem rough and harsh to them. It doesn't smell from them as it will be after washing - I'll see. I will also add that these are the softest and most comfortable of the ones I've come across.
