This cap is SO comfortable! It's very useful in many ways, I really like this hat. Initially, I often use it to keep my long curly hair off my shoulders and back when it's hot outside or when I just need to get my hair out of the way. I have chronic migraines and often my head starts hurting and triggers a migraine just from putting my long hair up. The weight of my hair held back with a barrette or hair tie becomes painful as it pulls on my scalp. This cap holds my hair in place without weighing it down or putting pressure on my scalp. I also use it every time I wash my hair. My hair is very demanding when it comes to care. The only way to dry it for better curl definition and volume is to wash and curl it overnight and then place it over my head on a pillow while I sleep. While it makes my hair look great, it's quite uncomfortable. This hood solved that problem for me. Now I twist my hair and then style it with it when I sleep and it helps achieve the same results by keeping my pillow dry and my cold wet hair off my face and skin.
