I already have a silk pillowcase and I want to buy more - the price can't be any lower, right? Well, if something seems too good to be true, it is. I received these pillowcases relatively quickly but they are not as advertised. They came folded and sealed in individual plastic bags - no fancy boxes or care instruction cards. These pillowcases do NOT have zippers, instead they have an envelope closure. They slipped more than my silk pillowcase, but I thought they would soften after washing. I was wrong. Silk is soft and creases easily. These pillowcases hardly feel damp. I washed my silk pillowcase with these "things" in a mesh linen bag in the washing machine on the gentle cycle. These pillowcases don't need that treatment - I can roll them into a ball and throw them and they'll get slapped. It would be great if that's what I want, but it's not what I want. I highly doubt it's "100% mulberry silk" and probably polyester satin, but I don't feel like doing a burn test to find out. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. Do yourself a favor and pay extra for a real silk pillowcase; Your skin and hair will thank you.
