The first use within 2 weeks passed with a bang. This filter uninterruptedly provided drinking water to three healthy men after filtering it from a not quite clean river. On the trip the following year, the filter worked for a week and burst in my hands. A piece of plastic fell off the top cover, breaking the seal. In field conditions, it was not possible to repair. I had to boil and drink smelly water from the river. By the way, it was not possible to repair it even upon returning home - not a single glue takes this plastic.
