Not compatible with MasterFan Pro 140 Air Flow RGB with Thermaltake Core X71 TG case when configured for front case. I'm using a Thermaltake Core X71 TG case with two MasterFan Pro 140 fans in the front. Bought two of these with the intention of creating a fan light show (i.e. the center of the fan is solid color and the grilles are chased, perhaps as a volume meter if the motherboard software supports it). When the case is closed, the fan blades press against the LEDs and produce a loud, annoying grinding noise. I've noticed that the ring isn't exactly 140mm, it's slightly smaller, which causes this issue. If the ring had been slightly larger instead, this would not have happened. Edit: I've since devised a way to use a fan shroud with fans, but this requires moving the fan behind the case. This in turn now results in the support bars on the front of the case blocking the fans, meaning there are ugly bars above the fans when the fan is on. I will live but the fans aesthetic is corrupted.
