Didn't get hot enough to be felt with bare hands
I bought this pad to relieve muscle pain and it was totally unsuitable for the job. I tested it one day in 31 degrees Fahrenheit while waiting in the parking lot. The autothermostat was set at 60 degrees. I plugged it in and waited for it to heat up, but it never did. The pillow was no warmer than in my car. If you want it to warm your hands, it would be more efficient to keep your hands in front of the dashboard vents. If you want it to ease the pain like I did, it won't work. Even bare hands didn't get warm. I returned it.
