I've been making pizza in a wood-fired oven for about four years. I needed a new pizza skin to turn my pizza once in the oven (I use a wooden skin to move pizza from the kitchen to the oven). Everything about this pizza shovel is great except the rivets that hold the handle to the shovel are raised and will catch on the pizza when you slide underneath to flip it. Other barks have indentations in front of the rivets or smooth-topped rivets that won't catch on the delicate bark.
