Review on Logitech G305 Lightspeed: The Ultimate Wireless Gaming Mouse by Chong Won ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The purchase was not entirely successful, there were minor problems in use.

: I refused this monster, taking Logi Anivhere 2 as a replacement. So everything would be fine, but my happiness is overshadowed by the IMPOSSIBILITY TO REMOVE G-HUB, that is, the software for this vile mouse. It does not want to be deleted, it ignores any of my attempts to delete it. I bought it because I got tired of crawling with an old mouse from end to end of a long screen, I thought that I needed something with a higher resolution. I chose for a long time, because even there is nothing to choose from now with loggers, everything is either awl-on-soapy or controversial in terms of characteristics, in the end I decided to try something very different from the average. In real life, the mouse turned out to be highly specialized, for games (I didn’t understand the truth for which ones), with a stunningly wretched appearance - tactile sensations are inexpressibly cheap, rough thin plastic, and an UNEVEN glossy insert a la Chinese goods of the category "everything for 99". The situation would be saved by the presence of an inertial wheel for fast scrolling (then it would at least become universal), but it is not. I regret the purchase, 4 thousand could have been ditched with greater benefit for the same combined model, for example.

Pros
  • Works on any surface, including transparent ones. A convenient feature with switching the sensor sensitivity with a button near the wheel - you can change it in one click without getting into the settings. The sensitivity is again good - I didn’t even need 12022, 5000 was enough
Cons
  • Big. Uncomfortable. Loud. WRONG QUALITY EXTERIOR SURFACE FINISH. There is no bluetooth, no orange star, you can’t hang it on one sensor or without it, without taking up USB. And yes, the buttons are really pressed under the weight of a relaxed finger - when I read such reviews, I was perplexed until I myself encountered this in real life. Here even the matter can be. not in buttons, but in unsuccessful geometry - despite the height of 190 cm and a correspondingly large palm, this mouse is inconvenient for me, and it will probably be as small as an iron. The worst Logitech mouse over the past 10 years, and during this time I actually bought a dozen of them (except for those that are still in the photo "Marathon" at work for me and the B530 and M560 from my wife).

Overall a good mouse, not perfect but good. Addition: The G403 Hero fit better in shape, I liked the same sensor more, not so sharp or something.
