TIVO may not have fixed the bugs in this new system. We were. TIVO user for at least 10 years. Now we have 3 TIVO in our house. TIVO Edge is the latest, received just a few weeks ago. Here are some of the issues. TIVO Edge crashed multiple times, requiring unplugging and rebooting the system from scratch. It doesn't block while you're watching a program, it blocks when you perform an action, e.g. B. select a program to watch. TIVO Edge also displays a round blue circle (Wait) for several minutes. Eventually control returns. This is one break per byte and the percentage of memory used is 11%. - Pay attention to the software management feature that allows you to copy existing recordings from a TIVO to TIVO Edge. Most of the programs that were copied to the Edge did not play in full. Rather, Edge would get stuck in the middle of a program and we could never find a way to get Edge to quit the program. Luckily we didn't delete the original program and were able to go back to the old TIVO device and watch it from there. All in all still a good device. It just has a few rough edges that need smoothing.
