I've been using two of these for the past month or so to cut up jam seeds which I then put in a food dehydrator. The half inch worked very well for the core of larger jams. I tried the next smaller size with the smaller jams; the jagged edges were very blunt to begin with and cut through the skin of the jam with difficulty, causing it to buckle almost immediately. It is practically unsuitable for this purpose. So the search continues for a tool that reliably fills smaller gummy bears. It should be noted that I've tried cob core removers and they don't work with regular sized fresh jams either.
