Review on πŸ’§ The Body Shop Round Cotton Pads: Gentle and Sustainable Skincare Essentials by Sarah Brown

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I would not recommend them at all, ever.

I've read so many reviews on so many different cotton pads and I really expected to like these, but no. I've been spoiled with the ones that DHC has to offer, but they're way too expensive for everyday use. I like the ones from Swisspers that have an exfoliating side, but mostly I just want one with two soft sides that absorbs micellar water, toner or nail polish remover well and doesn't leave lint on my face. or nails. Unfortunately, they don't move in well. Even if I soak the pad until it starts to drip, I usually have to add more halfway through. Worse, they stick together in the pocket and start to unravel as I use them, almost falling apart into two thin circles. The filler is basically loose cotton fibers that cling to my face and make me feel like I'm trapped in a web. No really, sometimes I have to use a better quality cotton pad to wipe the residue off my face. Oh and one more thing, the plastic bag they come in has a drawstring top but you're lucky if you close it. I feel like I'm being generous in giving them 2 stars. I hate them and don't understand why they have a 4.5 rating.
