When I opened the first leg, I was surprised to see that my finger was pierced by a spiral metal splinter protruding from one of the legs. The need to check for sharp scraps of metal before handling them never crossed my mind. I had to remove helix pieces from two of the four legs to engage the external threads. Also, the threaded holes on all four legs were very poorly machined, and all the holes were at small and different angles relative to the leg longitudinal bars. Therefore it was not possible to attach the legs flush with the glass top or the adjustable legs at the base of the legs. The legs of the assembled stand noticeably protruded in different directions, and when all the components were fully tightened, there was a noticeable thud and a gap under the leg of about 4mm. It was possible to loosen two of the four adjustable legs to minimize wobble and adjust all four legs to level the top of the class horizontally. However, given the low quality of the product and the lack of aesthetics of the assembled stand, I will be returning the stand in hopes of finding a properly made product. It was noted above that the actual class leader turned out to be properly finished with the exception of the machined internal threads.
