I had high hopes for this product, but ended up being disappointed. First, the material comes on a tight roll. It's difficult to get it to lay flat. The vendor said to lay it flat and put books on it for a "long time." After 4 days under pressure, the material still curled a lot. Second, when we tried to attach it to a car, the magnetic "adhesion" was very light. Barely enough to get it to stay on the vehicle under the best circumstances. Certainly not enough to hold it on if there's any curvature or while driving around. Had to use blue painter's tape to hold it to the vehicles. I don't know if the thicker version would have solved either issue, but the thin did not work well for my needs.
