Review on Purple Butterfly Embroidery Applique Cotton by Amber Perez

Cheap glue, short lived

I thought it would be so cute on my solid color tops. I received so many compliments while working on my uniform design. The older women loved it! After about 3-4 wears and washes those damn butterflies started unbuttoning around the edges. Even though I wash them inside out in cold water. I have other iron-on scrubs from Walmart that were applied years ago and have lasted all this time, but not these butterflies. I am very disappointed in these applications. Now I have to sew them on to fix them. One fell off completely and the others are now falling off. I've only been using these scrubs for 4 months. I know I ironed them properly too because I've done it before and they held up well for a few washes but then they broke. Cheap glue I think! It is better to sew them; Don't rely on the glue to last long.

Pros
  • Sew or iron on to cloth, leather, PU or smooth fabrics, best for sewing on a patch
Cons
  • Damaged
