I bought this for a kitten which was very unexpected as the mother was due to be spayed by SPCA and to our surprise she had a kitten. She is a very wild cat so we wanted to have a kitten in 4 weeks so we can tame her and then spay her so she doesn't have kittens either. I read all the reviews on all milk substitutes and decided to give this one a try. We've used others in the past with varying results. It's fantastic, no diarrhea, great weight play, healthy coat, good energy and bright eyes. There is a small amount of sand particles, but they are so small that they do not affect anything, and the kitten does not mind at all. Plus, you don't need to keep it in the fridge and it easily dissolves in warm water. All victories in my book.
