I rarely write reviews so what I write about this curling iron says a lot I love the length of this straightener as you can curl a lot more hair without leaving the barrel I have fine hair that frizzes easily on high heat, but the ionic technology has kept frizz to a minimum (using a heat protectant could probably eliminate the frizz completely) General handling of the iron is good - not too heavy or clunky.My only two criticisms would be that the iron tip gets too hot to hold with your hand when you si e really need to use. You can argue using the gloves that come with the kit, but personally I like having my hands free to manage my hair. Plus, the main controls (power and temperature settings) are right where your hand is on the handle. Because of this, I often found myself pushing buttons. You just need to pay special attention to the position of the hands. But despite these two criticisms, I still give this iron 5 stars!
