I was replacing all my old thick cotton towels and was looking for lightweight towels that wouldn't take up much storage space but most importantly towels that would not tangle or fade with use and had good features. Absorbency. I came across these towels while searching reviews, but skipped them a couple of times, thinking they were a bit pricey (I've never spent more than $10 on bath towels) and mostly because they don't run out natural fibers were made. . But in the end I took a chance and bought it. After using it I liked it so much that I ordered two more (one was a set of two) in different colors! I washed all towels before use (as with all new fabric purchases) and the first time I used them I was genuinely disappointed - the towels felt "sticky" and I was forced to blot my skin piece by piece , rather than simply wiping it over the entire surface as is usually done with a cotton cloth. But then, after the 2nd or 3rd wash, I noticed that it got better and better absorbed with just one swipe. It also does a great job of quickly removing moisture from my wet hair. Then this morning my husband told me that's one hell of an absorbent towel - and coming from that it really means something! Do yourself a favor - forget all those plush/heavy 600-700gsm towels, Egyptian/Turkish cotton etc - and just buy one of these. They work magic!
