Not quite what I expected

I live in the desert. Due to the coarse dust normally found in the air, windows tend to 'etch' over time, creating a cloudy veil. I also struggle with hard water spots when watering a small patch of vegetation that I'd like to keep. I usually use citric acid to remove hard water stains and I usually do this twice a year. I don't like doing that because you really can't get it on the vegetation and expect the vegetation to be alive. I was hoping this product would do the job but it didn't help with tough water stains. Windows do get a little cloudy even after cleaning tough stains on windows so I tried using the product afterwards to see what would happen. One out of five windows looked really good after the application, so I tried the second application on the other four windows. After spending a lot of effort polishing and buffing, I have to admit that they are all much clearer now. I wouldn't say they look new but there is a noticeable difference. The whole problem with this is that I am comparing this product to a product from my home state that I have used before that is also called Glass Wax. We've used this product in the past to clean pretty much everything from glass and chrome, including tough water stains, and it really doesn't compare. Yes, with a little effort, you can greatly improve the look of your windows. However, it is not a miracle product as advertised by many. I believe if you have never used old glass wax then this product is pretty good. For those of us who have it, it's kind of a disappointment.
