You must use these flakes over a colored base as they are opaque on their own. I used black but other colors may work as well depending on the color of the chrome. And it's not a perfect high-shine finish like some powders can achieve. These flakes leave a somewhat textured look, so keep that in mind before you buy. If you're used to premium chrome with a mirror finish, this may not be for you. But if you are new to nail art and want to make your own kit or maybe just looking for a beautiful and affordable chameleon effect, this is a great option.
