Failed to start a small air conditioner that definitely has less than 6000W of pulsed starting current that thing claims to handle. A 1500W pure resistive load worked fine for me, but it couldn't run a 500W air conditioner or a 300W ice maker. (both are less than advertised surge power even assuming 10x), got a better quality 230 and 6000 watt inverter separately (so takes the same 3000 watts for a single 110 branch) and has no problem . I'm giving it an extra star for "value" because it's cheap. but a cheaper and honest one would satisfy me more. Don't pretend this thing can handle ANY launch boost because it can't.
