Initial attempts to position the globe so that the system could take control and keep it in the air were a bit painful. They have a little tool that can help, but I found it easier to do by hand with a little practice. Once the system has positioned the globe in space, you can blow lightly on one side of the globe and it will spin in the air as well. A very pleasant effect.
