I love these recons. I use them all the time for many outdoor activities. Hunting, shooting, winter hiking, chopping wood, snowboarding, running, etc. They're good in the summer because they let air through and protect my face from sawdust when I'm chopping wood, but they keep me warm in the winter when I'm hunting, snowboarding or clear snow. It's amazing how one of these cloaks changes the situation on the hunt. By simply covering the neck, face, back of the head and cheeks, you retain a lot of warmth. It will also prevent your cheek from freezing with your rifle butt when you are about to shoot an animal. This is a very small and lightweight device that comes in handy when you're sitting in a tree for 6 hours in sub-zero temperatures. They are lightweight and breathable, yet warm and functional.
