So while I did purchase this with primarily pet hair in mind, the game changing & unexpected benefit of it collecting human hair is excellent. Forgive my pictures, they're kind of gross but all that hair collected came from a tiny hallway that was JUST vacuumed thoroughly. I live in a house with many girls, including myself, constantly shedding hair throughout the day & it was driving me insane not to mention strands literally getting tangled up in my feet when I walked around. I live in a clean home, I vacuum daily, but it never picked up all the hair & much of the time the hair it did pick up would become wrapped around the roller bar. The fact that it collects dirt/anything else lying around has become an added bonus for me.The title does refer to this as a "rake" and that is the only thing I'd change about it. I've seen very similar models at friends' houses that could be pushed forward but this one really can't, the bristles just bend and get stuck. I think the other ones I've seen had slightly more rigid bristles.
