You never know what you're going to get with items like this but I'm satisfied. I wish the desk was a little bit taller, my hands are slightly uncomfortable at the angle they're at when I type, however I have a chair that's lowest setting is fairly high so I can't ding the desk for that. Speaking of dings, the surface is more resilient than I expected which is nice, no scratches and hasn't suffered any liquid damage.I have a clamping monitor mount and I found it was feasible if I clamp it on the square bar support on the long edge of the desk, however this will NOT work on the corner of the desk where there is no support, it will bend the desk top due to the weight.The short side of the desk is roomy but I always find a way to fill it up with garbage anyway, heh.
