This review is for Aluminum Round/Black Magazine Mirrors which the seller/manufacturer says will fit the 2007 R1200RT. Wrong, they won't. It turns out to be clever that the angles on the shoulder can be changed and the mirror is offset, which makes handling easier. The construction is all aluminum and has proven worthy over many years. Several mounts were sent, none of which worked. I tried cutting the mounting hole but it didn't work. I have longer pan head screws that almost worked. The mirror didn't fit in the hole, I also noticed that the arm was too short for the mounting location. This gave me almost the same view as in the factory mirrors, albeit a little higher. They don't stick out any further than the factory ones, so you're still left with an obstruction. Due to the short stem, they are best placed further back on wider handlebars. Due to adjustability and quality I wanted them to work but they will not film this particular R1200RT.1 due to inaccurate advertising and will not respond to my request for a workaround.
