This irrigator is excellent, there is no better preventive cleaning than this. My gums got infected because of the veneer and the root canal. The dentist told me I needed a new root canal, a gum massage and nothing helped. I chose Dentalpik and saw a huge difference in just one week. My gums were inflamed, but it cleared up deeply and the inflamed gums changed completely. It worked amazingly all over my mouth. I learned to use purified warm water and a small amount of mouthwash. I love that you can take it with you when you travel and I keep my mouth shut when I use the sink so I don't mess up the sink and mirror. A small water container needs to be filled twice to clean the entire mouth.
