So I assembled a gaming rig at home. I've bought and upgraded a Dell Inspiron 7577 (like the G5) in the past year, including purchasing a 120Hz LED bar upgrade (see review). I recently bought a 32 inch curved gaming monitor from MSI and now I'm looking to upgrade it with a wired keyboard and mouse. only keyboards for around $100 but then I decided to see if I could find a cheaper set with a good review. I found this set and jumped at the chance. It was a little cheaper than I expected, but a headset was also included. The first impression was very positive. The product was packaged in a large box with separate segments for each part. No damage issues, very nice product packaging, definitely no bow tie company with a generic package made in China. Therefore, my comments relate to the cost that I paid. I won't expect the world from what I got knowing I didn't pay much at all. The keyboard feels quite comfortable. It's certainly not mechanical mechanics, but while I wish I wasn't willing to spend money on it, the graphics are pretty cool and match the red dragon I have for the MSI gaming monitor. The only major flaw is that there is no software for the keyboard and any settings you have made will be lost upon reboot. For example, if you want to always have a red keyboard, you have to install it every time you turn on your computer by lifting your laptop. The mouse is good too. The default resolution is much higher than my regular office mouse, so I had to adjust it so I could move the mouse at my usual speed. The headphones also seem rather subtle, but the sound quality is definitely good. I repeat, everything suits me. I have gamer attitudes when I want to play games sometimes. It's not bad with branding and graphics, while there have been many keyboards/mice that looked cheap or had horrible fonts/graphics. Can't speak to reliability or performance but will add that after a few months of gaming.
