My kids aged 5 and 8 have been using these mattresses on their camping trips for a few years. They're a lot more comfortable than any of the smaller camping mattresses we've tried (Thermarest, Klymit) which means they sleep better and I sleep better too. Advantages: - Separate inflation and deflation valves. I wish all air mattresses were like this; This means you can inflate the air without leaking and deflate it more completely so it flattens again. The soft top is still comfortable for my child who refuses to stay in his sleeping bag. The floor is rubbery rather than slippery so doesn't move around in the tent - comfortable overall - works as a water toy in a pinch :) We spent a few days with this on the lake. Cons: - Had to replace one of them after about a year and a half when it seemed to be leaking air. As we only use it about a dozen times a year it seems to have a short lifespan. Large enough that a pump is quite necessary. Wider than I would have liked, takes up a lot of space in the tent.
