Review on Premium Nut Milk Bags: 100% Unbleached Cotton Cheesecloth Bags (3 Pack) for Yogurt, Juice, Herbs - Washable & Reusable Almond Milk Strainer by Dave Russell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not good for soy milk at all.

Not suitable for soy milk. Using these bags takes about 45 minutes to strain milk from 2 cups of soybeans. That said, I spent a lot of time on my feet, pushing, twisting, etc. Large pockets came out smaller than expected, I'm not sure if they were measured correctly. Not big enough for a medium sized small strainer. I have a width of 12 inches. Finally, due to the fact that they stretch very slowly and all this active twisting and squeezing is necessary, on the second use the bag burst with several small holes, which made it unusable, since now small spirals of pulp come out of 5 or 6 holes when squeezing - -- like a tube of toothpaste. They are very tightly woven, more like a cotton cloth, and they were designed as jelly/juice bags. The seller calls them nutmeg bags, but they're not made for soy milk. I also made almond milk. They can work a little better for this purpose, but not enough to recommend them. I had to return them but cook so much that I expect to find a use for them at some point. Disappointed with this purchase.
