I chose this salad bowl for a number of reasons. First I wanted a lure that had a drain to easily drain the water. Second, I wanted a spinner big enough to hold a large amount of lettuce. Third, I need a spinner that is easy to clean. This one hit those targets. What I don't care about about this spinner is that I'd rather have a knob than a spinning knob. This would make the save options more convenient and easier for me. I also wish it had an instant stop button. I checked out many rotating salads and even bought one from a big store (and came back). This one meets more criteria I need in a spinner. That works great. You can also use the basket for rinsing and peeling vegetables.
