Ideally the minimal housing should fit BUT the plastic frame doesn't snap into place. Dropping will likely cause damage, and the rest of the plastic barely fits (too tight and could damage the iPad over time even if never dropped). I have a tempered glass screen protector, as most iPad owners should have, especially since there is no built-in screen protector in this case. I have to hope that the very thin protective glass doesn't affect the fit. I came here because the case was difficult to attach and see this as a common complaint, although some people give 4 stars for not even snapping the bottom of the case 😳. (Truth?!). I am unhappy and easy to please. Can't recommend for this problem. The suitcase is still unused because it doesn't fit properly. 😢
