The thing flies so easily. Just put it down and off you go. It comes with a lanyard so you can attach it in a minute and be flying a kite like a pro. Be careful how you attach the threads or he will do what mine does - go far but not very high. my fault I will tie next time. Doesn't really look like an octopus when it flies - more like a squid - but I didn't care, I had fun flying my kite on the beach and got compliments from strangers saying how cool it was lol . Easily folds up to fit back into a bag and takes up about the same space in a holdall as a large pair of socks. Best entertainment for the money - feel free to buy this if you are a beginner or buying for a young child. It flies easily, looks cool and doesn't have many features. I like my new kite. :)
