I ordered a small set and found I could get this - something in between one yard and 10 yards depending on the width and thickness of the ribbon. I first took stock of my tape width to make sure it was smaller than the narrow part of the spool. There were a lot and I knew I could easily use the 50 pack. Some I really hit the coil limit and really should have been in the middle. I used paperclips to secure the end in place. I ordered a medium set today and am going to redo some small spools so the tape isn't that thick... lol. The thickness is more than sufficient, but remember that it is not plastic or fiberboard! I saw how one person kept it in another review, which is helpful. The container I used is half empty so I have to put in dividers or use narrow baskets to keep them organized.
