I got this little transceiver to play music from my phone on my stereo, so this review is really limited to the receiver's features. Setting up the device is easy. I plugged it in, making sure the optical cable was connected to the output side (one set of connectors for input, another for output). Nice that the optical cable was included. Bluetooth connection was easy, when switched on the device was a BT speaker. I didn't hear anything from the output until I pressed the mode button to switch to the optical output, after which everything worked fine. The range was as expected from a Bluetooth device, which was enough for my entire small house. I was able to hide the device behind the receiver - between it and the wall, with the top exposed - without sacrificing signal quality. stereo receiver.
