I totally understand what Aiwa is trying to do with their new products. Below are some reviews of the ARC ARC 1. Packaging/Box Looks great. When I received it I was very surprised to see how beautiful it looks. That inspires trust. The case feels a bit flimsy and I'm afraid it might break after too much use. However, they are quite compact and fit well in my backpack. Headphones I like the way they look, they are very light and comfortable. I really like the red Aiwa logo on the sides and their cushioning. I'm not a big fan of external headphone parts. I have a feeling they could be better. My least favorite are the buttons on the right earcup. I think having the Aiwa logo in the same red metallic color as the Aiwa logo on the headband might have added a little more quality and durability. I feel like the more I touch it to turn on the ANC, the "A" gets erased. Some red metallic accents on the buttons would also make them more visible. Power cords and additional audio cables These look good and are efficient. said I think it sounds pretty good. With the ANC off, the base sounds good, as does the overall sound quality. I enjoyed listening to them for hours. With ANC engaged, they block out a lot of noise around the house - they don't turn off the world, but they work well. I feel that the sound quality is stable and stable, and I am satisfied. I will definitely use them when traveling, lounging around the house and at work. Make and answer calls People can hear me and I can hear them. Good stuff. Problem When I removed the rubber plug from the charging port on the earbuds to charge them for the first time, it came loose and the port is now fully open. For me this is not critical, but I was a little disappointed. However, the extra sound coverage is still there. Part of me thinks Quince just wants to ditch these cases like other headphones? I have a feeling they don't add anything. Final Thoughts Overall I think these are very decent headphones. Sounds wise, I'm content; like I said, I can listen to music/podcasts for hours. The battery life is excellent. In terms of looks I think there could be small tweaks to make them look a little better and maybe the case could be improved to make it look/feel a little sturdier. $179 seems a bit pricey so if you can get it on sale - go for it, you won't be disappointed! Thank you AWA!
