Review on The Ultimate Baby and Toddler Knitting Guide: The Yarn Girls' Must-Have Patterns by Doris Tran

What I find strange about this book is the choice of yarn. Since the book is about "quick knit" patterns, I was expecting a bulkier or thicker yarn. But many of the yarns are worsted and you should double them. This increases the footage requirements for some drawings. 800 meters of yarn for a baby sweater is crazy! Why not use thicker yarn? Of course, a more experienced knitter will easily be able to change yarns, but the main group of knitters this book is aimed at, namely beginners, may have some trouble understanding these things. Just weird I think.
