Noodles in the rice cooker?!

After receiving this package I looked up some rice cooker recipes on YouTube and found that I could use it to make cakes, omelettes, oatmeal and more. I haven't cooked rice in it yet, but I think it will work since it was originally made for that. I'm a full-time college student and moved home from the dorm because of the pandemic, but if I had known about this while everything was fine, I would definitely be coping with the kettle. You can cook almost anything in record time and you don't even need a hob. The only thing I wanted was a timer but my phone worked fine so no problem. For the pasta, I simply added 2.5 cups of pasta (one cup comes with the stovetop) and the same amount of water. I let it cook for 20 minutes and then added my alfredo sauce and cheese (you can buy alfredo sauce separately or just make pasta with milk for a creamy texture). I seasoned it a bit and let it cook for another 5-10 minutes and then it's just like that done. Total time 30-35 minutes max. I just suggest that you keep an eye on the pasta as it cooks so it doesn't overcook and stir after a few minutes. I've also added hot dogs, but chicken, bacon, or any other meat/protein you can find works great. It made about 3 servings for me, which is almost too much (and I think I can make 1 more). After that, it only took a few seconds to wash the spoon, inner bowl and lid of the pot. A very convenient purchase for me. Looking forward to baking a mini cake :) Tip: It might be obvious, but use the plastic spatula that comes with the oven or the wooden spatula. I used my own silicone spatula and it broke in half thinking it couldn't withstand the heat/pressure. Happy cooking and good luck! .
