Review on Pet Products Thermo Mod Dream Heated Cats by Wendy Benson

My cat loves it but can't stay in it for more than 15 seconds. Why? Because it stinks. The chemical smell noted by other reviewers is real and persistent. I've had it for a month and it still stinks. You won't smell it just by being in the room, but put your face to the hole and it's a little overpowering. I've seen my cat go in about a dozen times to adjust the pillow as if getting ready for bed and then lie down for literally 15 seconds before coming out and laying on the carpet next to her. Opinion that reviews about this product saying "no smell" are wrong. I find it extremely unlikely that this item could be made in such a way that some of them would stink to high heaven and some of them would be odorless.
