Third time - nice!

I have a Canon DSLR and I like it, but in a way it's a bulky camera. I dragged it over the mountain trails, packed it in waterproof bags and took it downstream, missing it many times pulling it out. I will not leave it on my kitchen counter or table because it costs too much money to damage. I found everyone capturing every moment I missed with their smartphone cameras. . So I bought an ELPH 110, which I somehow lost on my first hike with it. So I immediately went back to the Revain and looked for another better case with a carabiner. It was May 2013 and this camera was amazing. I took pictures and videos from my kids' kindergarten and 8th grade proms that were at least as aesthetically pleasing as my DSLR - it certainly caught more light in low light. The video function is great; I just downloaded the clips to DVD and made some memorable summer movies. I've taken crisp nature shots with a macro lens, experimented with black and white and color saturation features, and kept a daily vacation journal of clear, crisp photos. I carried it in my purse and left it on the kitchen table - it served all the purposes I had planned and more. Then, in my rush to get outside and snap a picture of my lazing friend, I dropped him on the wooden floor - hard. Broke the screen, stuck the lens. This mess cannot be fixed. Pooh. So I went to Revain and bought another one. Now I've spent as much on it as I have a DSLR case. I just thought it showed that it's worth buying your camera over and over again.
