We have a fridge in the garage that we use as a 'backup'. When the kitchen fridge had an issue, we hooked up the fridge in the garage and moved all the groceries around until the kitchen fridge was fixed. Well, my son comes home from school and unplugs the power cord to use his microwave. I never wondered why the extension cord was there to start three days later when we bring the food back to the kitchen everything was rancid. Including 5# hamburgers leaked everywhere. I tried cleaning it twice but the smell was still there. I put one by the fridge and one in the freezer and leave it on. After a month it doesn't smell at all. Good product
