Review on Ultimate Durability: Drizzte Military Nylon Plastic Buckle Men's Accessories by Jeff Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly capable

My leather straps end with stretch holes, never feels tight enough and ugly around the buckle, so this time I looked for something different. I needed a belt that would hold my pants while riding my motorcycle at high speeds. I love the width of this belt, it makes my pants fit better and doesn't sag as much. I have to worry about between sizes if my waist size fluctuates. I found it very suitable for all my purposes and the price was very reasonable. Assuming it does what I think it should, it would be a great investment. The plastic buckle bothered me at first, especially when it popped out on first use, but a quick look at the product details shows that it's a highly compatible plastic. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to reattach the buckle, but it was actually very easy once I figured it out. Long and not short. Long enough to slip into the nearest trouser hanger. It comes with a small belt loop to hold the extra length, but it slips off when the buckle initially falls off and I didn't notice it. So I left it. I thought the belt worked well enough with my clothes that having to worry about an extra loop every time I change pants can be a problem. Wearing a belt kept my pants from sagging and feeling like they were about to fall off. This also caused the excess material of the pants to gather under the belt at the back, which is normal as the pants are tighter around the waist. I bought the pants in an intermediate size because my waist size varies between 46 and 48 for men. Currently I have a waist size of 47 which normal belt holes don't have. I will update my review in the future if I have more ideas to add.

Pros
  • The strap can be adjusted over a wide range of densities from loose to very tight when carrying a heavy tool bag.
Cons
  • The belt is very rough, very difficult to break
