Used as a therapy for Parkinson's disease - Works on carpets - Easy ball return due to gravity design

The device we received had no wrinkles; It works great on short pile rugs and plush rugs. There's nothing mechanical about returning the ball; It's basically a tilted design that works under gravity. The ball doesn't travel far across the carpet, so you'll have to walk and bend down to pick it up. In our case, a gripping tool is used. Although the carpet prevents the ball from rolling too far, we block the ball to confine it to a small area. That way it won't go under furniture etc. The rug is about 9 feet long. We keep part of the rug rolled up so not all 9 feet are used. This is an excellent therapy for a family member who has Parkinson's disease and suffers from mild confusion from time to time. He played golf quite a bit until Parkinson's disease affected his swing. Acquiring this portable golf mat brightened his days. In terms of therapy, it helps him with balance, arm movement, and cognitive ability. I set it up for him. Well, it's actually nothing special. It's quick to install, easy to deploy. He uses it with traditional golf balls, although I've ordered a few for home use. He felt a bit embarrassed when the ball hit the hole and bounced. I explained that the balls bounced because the holes weren't deep, so he has to assume he took a successful shot. For storage: I turn the device upside down, roll the mat with the print outwards, place the rolled mat in the recess. (The recess is not deep enough to accommodate the entire rolled rug), place 2 balls in the other recess and tuck under the bed. Physical activity became increasingly difficult for him; I'm so glad he's enjoying laying on the mat and getting therapy at the same time. (He doesn't have the tremors normally associated with Parkinson's but does have stiffness, pain, difficulty walking and now cognitive issues)
